The Elder Gods, who created all of the realms in the universe, created a rule. One realm can conquer another realm if it wins 10 times in a row in Mortal Kombat. Outworld already won nine tournaments. Now the final tournament, where the fate of the Earthrealm is decided begins, where several warriors from Earth, lead by The Thunder God Raiden, are preparing to fight for their world in Mortal Kombat against the sorcerer Shang Tsung.
